  • Can I pick up or have you deliver my order?
Certainly. Please contact me to arrange a time for picking up your order at the shop. It may be possible to deliver your order for a fee depending on distance, size of the item(s) and scheduling. Please contact us to arrange a potential delivery.
  • Where are your products made?
We are a small husband and wife business located in central CT in the town of Vernon. We have a woodshop in an outbuilding in our back yard. All of our products are made here on site.
  • If I already have materials can I have you use them?
If you already have materials you would like to use I'd be happy to incorporate them into your product. Please contact me to arrange this. It is a great way to keep the cost down on your custom project or item.
  • How do I care for my Cutting/Serving board?
The best way to clean your board is with warm water, mild soap, and a washcloth. The dishwasher should NOT be used, as the heat can cause the glue to fail, even in a brand new product. It is normal for cutting boards to become marred with knife marks with use. If the wood seems to be absorbing water, looks dry, or looks discolored, you can rub mineral oil into the wood with a cloth. Mineral oil is food safe and the best way to revive your board. You should add mineral oil a few times a year or more depending on use. If your product is looking tired or damaged, please contact me for more information. It may be possible for me to fix or restore your item for a reasonable fee.
  • What kind of custom work can you do?
I love custom orders. I find it very fun and challenging to create products that I haven't made before. If you haven't yet, please check out the Gallery page to see some of my unique items that other customers have purchased in the past. The best way to inquire about having something custom made is to contact me and send me a picture of what you have in mind. Please reach out, I'd love to make your unique product. Some of the more common items include, but are not limited to: Custom size picture frames Custom shapes or sizes of cutting boards Custom products made from a specific wood species Custom furniture or decorations Personalized boards/toys/gifts
  • Is there a current lead time for custom orders?
Currently custom work is able to be made with no lead time. I will do my best to give you an expected date for your product to be completed as soon as possible after you place an order.
  • How do I edit or remove the 'Frequently Asked Questions' title?

  • What types of wood can you make custom products out of?

We would be happy to work with you to put that special unique touch on any product you order from us. We have the technology to custom laser engrave or carve words and shapes. • What is your return policy?
We are a very small company and aren't able to offer the type of returns you might expect from Amazon or other large corporations. We handle returns on a case by case basis but rest assured that we want you to be happy with your purchase. In most cases, as long as the product is in unused condition we will try to work with you to make you satisfied. Custom work or work that has been carved/engraved are typically not returnable. Did someone put your cutting board through the dishwasher, and it fell apart? Did your frame get knocked off the wall and break? We are happy to repair items that we are able to for a small fee. Please contact us to get a repair started. If you are unhappy with the workmanship or feel there are blemishes or errors that you were not aware of, we will try very hard to replace or refund your purchase. Please contact us for starting a return or repair.
